We met by chance in 2020, from two completely different places and paths (we’ll tell you the story in person). It was love at first business call and we’ve been in a blissful cloud of incense and palo santo ever since. Between the both of us, we have 4 grown kids and two younger ones, and we are never ever bored.

The vision for GTG was conceptualized in April 2021, while Nels was in bed with food poisoning during our first long awaited trip to the beach together.

We had been planning a romantic trip to South Padre for his birthday, so illness was an unwelcome surprise. Instead of a ruined vacation, we found ourselves watching YouTube videos about glamping, and immediately knew this would be our path! It started out as an idea for a few small rentals and then grew into a much larger goal with a bigger motive. Through GTG, we’ve been able to create a vision that will encompass all of our passions- a retreat center, holistic health, nature conservation, sustainability, and camping with friends and family!

We believe in the importance of connecting with yourself and loved ones in nature and want to provide you a comfortable space to do just that. So rest, relax, enjoy nature and each other.
