About The Sycamore

The Sycamore Glampground is the premier site for GTG. It’s located in Holdenville, OK on 20 beautiful acres along the Little River, with an old hunting cabin that provides running water, a shared bathroom with shower, and a small kitchen (please excuse the condition, she’ll get her makeover soon!). The property will soon be under construction, but we currently have several offerings for you. 

Rental options include:

-3 furnished bell tents (bedding not provided) with one queen air bed, dinette, AC (for night time use only), electricity and a personal charcoal grill. Each tent sleeps up to 4.

-3 RV spots with full hookups

-Self-camping tent areas

Please consider this to be a self-camping experience as we are not yet staffed for hosting and cleaning. Bring your own bedding and a cooler, and if you’re planning to cook, bring your own equipment and plan to cook over the campfire or charcoal grill, since the kitchen stove is not in very good condition. We also ask that you clean up when you leave (clean up after your pets, too!), as we hope that the guest before you did the same for you. Yes, we’re pet friendly.

The river provides ample fishing for bass, catfish, gar and crappie. Enjoy a round of cornhole, hiking, or bring a trail bike for cycling. The nearby Holdenville Lake is only a 5 minute drive and has lovely swimming area and picnic areas. Bring your water toys for skiing, tubing, or fishing. The lake doesn’t provide boat storage, so you’re welcome to park it along our driveway. The town of Holdenville is a 10 minute drive and offers a variety of shops and restaurants and the local Walmart has any additional camping supplies you may need.
