What all do you actually need to bring on a camping trip?

Hey, some people really need to know this! Here is a list for the novice camper:

Firewood.
Charcoal.
Firestarter (kindling or lighter fluid or dryer lint).
Matches or lighter.
Ice chest (with food and ice).
Bug spray.
Sunscreen.
A hat.
Toiletries.
Baby wipes if you have kids. 
Bedding (sheets, sleeping bag, bed roll, etc).
Pillows.
Extra air mattresses, if you need them. 
Clothing (light layers and a rain jacket).
Extra clothes for kids- they will get dirty.
Tennis shoes.
Flip flops.
Towels.
Water bottle.
Thermos.
Pour over cone for coffee (not just for the hipsters).
Cookware/fire-irons, or make it easy and bring skewers for hotdogs and mallows.
Campfire kettle or pot for boiling water (or use ours in the communal cabin).
Flatware & cutlery.
Plates.
Camping chairs.
Reading material.
Binoculars are nice. 
Flashlight.
Lantern.
Extra batteries.
First aid kit (Band-Aids, antibiotic ointment, cortisone cream, aloe vera).
Picnic blanket.
Camping hammock.
Water toys.
Chargers if you must. 
Oh, and if you plan to self-camp, bring a tent. Silly.
